Linus are on time.

Thanks to a heads-up from the great fellas over at Montréal Burger we now bring you Linus! On time, on sound, on track!

The arpegiatted guitar lines of Local Natives, the rhythmic strokes of Grizzly Bear, and elation-busting, rising riffs of Beach House. Honestly though, they may have arrived on time, but these students of Wesleyan University are more than book (pitchfork?)-smart. To be sure, ‘Rest Assured’ is so damn catchy it would fit nicely on the soundtrack,  but  on ‘AJLS’ the band lean just close enough to 1950s Everly Brothers territory to show us that, really, its more about that-sweet-love (TM Buddy Holly) than that-sweet-8.4-rated-folk revival.

Listen to Linus here.

ps. It is now one of my principal desires to have Sleigh Bells play the rhythm guitar to ‘Speech Impediment’. mmm.
