In London and the UK on January 26, 2011 at 8:00 am

Remember how good Thunder, Lightening, Strike was? (Here’s a little reminder.) To be honest I may have neglected their second album, Proof of Youth, and probably unfairly because what I’ve heard off their newest, Rolling Blackouts, I’ve thoroughly enjoyed. This album is sorta what you would expect but manages to also be completely surprising at times. It’s a fun album – high on energy and creativity. They push the boundaries of pop/indie rock/music-in-general. It’s schizophrenic and endlessly entertaining. Take a listen and rake in all the joy that is Rolling Blackouts. As of yet there’s no tour dates in North America to speak of. Hopefully soon, though. Album’s out January 31st on UK-based Memphis Industries. Enjoy the first track, appropriate titled “T.O.R.N.A.D.O”, below, and give the whole album a listen on The Guardian or on Soundcloud.
