Pop Winds do more than just churn out ‘the product’

In all seriousness, this is another excellent Sessions output from the first three of the above-listed non-wrong-doers. The setting is surprisingly appropriate and the filming, editing, and sound is great as always. Seeing Pop Winds is always a treat because it’s a little different each time. Sometime’s it poppy and energetic, and other times it’s all about the slow build. They’re best when you get the best of both worlds, which lately has been the name of the game. If I haven’t said it before, they were arguably the highlight of the Braids album release show, or at the very least they were especially awesome. Here, in a warehouse, they deliver in the way that showcases why they are one of Montreal’s most consistently creative and enjoyable live bands. Check out the video by clicking the picture above. Check out all of the sessions, which include Braids, Grimes, and now Pop Winds, here. More good things to come from all parties involved.
